All you need to know about IJMB
Interim joint matriculation board (IJMB) is a federal government-approved programme. It was innovated by Ahmadu Bello University Zaria with aim of providing an alternative way to gain admission into the university.
IJMB is a nine-month program, which grants automatic admission into most Nigerian universities. Students who enroll in the program will be given admission through direct entry into the university they enrolled in.
The most interesting part of this program is that they will be given admission into the 200 level, so far they did well in the programme.
IJMB Cut off Point for Medicine
To be considered for admission into the medical department in Nigerian universities, you must have a minimum IJMB cut-off point of 5. Those who have 5 – 9 points in their IJMB programme are considered passed and they will be offered admission into 200 level.
